Chehalis Dorman
Chehalis Dorman is an Associate at Hintze Law PLLC, representing companies exclusively on AI, privacy, and security issues. She provides guidance on global data protection issues including data breach notification laws and privacy policy development. Chehalis has also gained in-house experience through a secondment with the AI team of a Fortune 100 tech company.
Chehalis has conducted global privacy impact assessments, provided product reviews of privacy by design and compliance, and provided analyses of national and international data protection standards and terms, providing a path to strengthening an organization’s data security position. Her experience also includes regulatory responses in FTC Section 5 and Section 6(b) investigations and California State Attorney General investigations. Other areas of expertise include GDPR, CFAA, SMS, TCPA, state telemarketing laws, mobile apps, and privacy statements.
Prior to Hintze Law, Chehalis worked for the Tulalip Tribes as a Summer Law Clerk and with the Snoqualmie Tribe where she worked as an Interim Education Director aligning departmental practices with tribal policies.
At the University of Washington School of Law, Chehalis provided leadership and direction as President of the University of Washington Native American Law Student Association (NALSA) and participated in the International Human Rights Clinic.
