Elizabeth Crooks
Elizabeth Crooks is a Senior Data Consultant at Hintze Law PLLC. She assists organizations with privacy and data security issues and compliance programs. Elizabeth has experience working on global data protection matters, including the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), COPPA, FERPA, NIST Privacy, and cybersecurity.
Prior to Hintze Law, Elizabeth worked for Coalfire as a Privacy Consultant, where she gained experience assessing and addressing gaps in clients’ GDPR and CCPA compliance. She also advised clients on building privacy programs, including policy reviews and updates, data mapping, control selection, and industry best practices.
Elizabeth has a Masters of Science in Information Management with a specialty in information security from the University of Washington. Elizabeth served as President of the ISACA Student Chapter at UW and was a Jackson School International Policy Institute Cybersecurity Fellow.
