Wen Tseng
Wen Tseng is a Principal Privacy Consultant at Hintze Law PLLC. He assists organizations in the areas of privacy, cybersecurity, and AI, including assessing, building, and maturing GRC programs, transforming strategic vision into operational reality, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Wen has over two decades of experience leading cybersecurity and privacy programs. He excels in bringing structure to complex environments and implementing programs that meet both compliance and business objectives.
Prior to Hintze Law, Wen served as Director of Privacy at Microsoft, where he led program operations team to ensure ongoing compliance with Data Subject Rights requests and enabled delivery of privacy reviews in support of Microsoft's global marketing and sales activities. Before Microsoft, Wen served as the Interim Research Director at Cloud Security Alliance, and worked in Washington Mutual Bank (WaMu, now JPMorgan Chase)’s enterprise information security program where he led the bank's cybersecurity investigations and forensics team and successfully mitigated Internet phishing attacks. Wen helped launch the online financial services firm ShareBuilder and served as its head of information security.
Wen is currently an Advisory Council Member of the SecureWorld Conference and previously served as VP and Treasurer of the Puget Sound Chapter of ISSA.
