Emeka Egwuatu
Emeka Egwuatu is an Associate at Hintze Law PLLC. Emeka represents companies exclusively on AI, privacy, and cybersecurity issues. Emeka has experience in various matters, including COPPA, CCPA, BIPA, FERPA, Artificial Intelligence, facial recognition technology, data security breach law, and data protection agreements providing valuable contributions to our clients.
Emeka also has significant in-house experience. While at Hintze Law, Emeka has seconded with two Fortune 100 tech companies. Before Hintze Law, Emeka worked for Expedia as a Summer Legal Intern, where he gained valuable privacy experience on Privacy Policies, Security Policies, GDPR and EU privacy matters.
As a law student at Seattle University School of Law, Emeka was a founder and President of Privacy Law Student Association, served as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, served as Senior Editor and Business, Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice, and served on Moot Court Board. Emeka also received several honors and awards, including being twice honored as a King County Bar Association Scholar recipient and is an IAPP Westin Scholar Recipient.
Emeka is an active member of the Loren Miller Bar Association.
