Emily Litka
Emily Litka is a Senior Associate at Hintze Law PLLC.
Emily focuses her practice on global privacy and emerging AI laws and regulations. She regularly counsels on risk during product development, the development and operationalization of privacy programs, the preparation of data protection impact assessments, and the development of internal privacy policies and processes.
Prior to joining Hintze, Emily was a corporate counsel at Amazon, where she supported Amazon Alexa, Amazon Kids on Alexa, and Amazon’s AI privacy matters. Emily also held roles as product & privacy counsel at Mozilla, and privacy program manager at Facebook (now Meta). She supported novel technologies including voice assistants, generative foundation model development and deployment, and augmented reality.
Emily earned her law degree, cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law where she was a Beasley Scholar. While in law school, Emily was the Managing Editor of the Temple Law Review and she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Cynthia M. Ruth of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
