Deb comes to Hintze Law’s Seattle office with over two decades of deep and wide-ranging experience and programmatic skills in privacy and data protection matters, including the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and COPPA. Deb joins Hintze Law’s growing team of talented privacy analysts who complement Hintze Law’s team of privacy and cybersecurity attorneys.

Deb worked most recently at Nordstrom as a Senior Program Manager, Privacy, where she managed various privacy programs, including customer data subject rights, digital marketing governance, product engagement, and customer and employee transparency.
Prior to Nordstrom, Deb assessed and advised on global, enterprise-wide Sales and Marketing programs and strategies as Senior Privacy & Data Protection Specialist for Boeing.
Deb also worked in privacy for over 15 years at HP, Inc., where she managed worldwide privacy consultations and compliance and represented HP in cross-industry coalitions and working groups.
Deb has been recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) and has earned her Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States CIPP/US, and Certified Information Privacy Manager CIPM certifications through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She also contributed as a former member of the IAPP’s Certification Advisory Board developing the CIPM examination.
