We are thrilled to announce that first-year associates, Leslie Veloz and Cameron Cantrell, have joined Hintze Law in the Seattle Office.
Cameron Cantrell previously worked as a summer associate and privacy intern for Hintze Law. She joins Hintze from the University of Washington School of Law, where she was a research assistant in the Tech Policy Lab and served as an Articles Editor of the Washington Journal of Law, Technology, and Arts. In addition, she was also Co-President of the Cyberlaw Association and on the board for the Public Interest Law Association. Cameron has also gained privacy experience as a policy intern at the ACLU of Washington and as a Google Public Policy Fellow.
Leslie Veloz was the first-ever privacy intern for T-Mobile, where she helped implement state, federal, and global privacy compliance programs. Leslie is a graduate of the Seton Hall University School of Law. As a student, Leslie was the Chair of the Northeast Region of the National Black Law Student Associate, President of her local Latin American Law Students Association, a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board, and a legal extern to the Honorable John Michael Vazquez, a U.S. District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey.
Leslie and Cameron represent companies in FTC investigations and data breaches and advise companies on global privacy compliance and privacy by design. They each have experience drafting privacy notices and internal privacy and security policies, implementing privacy compliance programs, and conducting data protection impact assessments.
