Congrats to Taylor Widawski for Promotion to Partner

Hintze Law, PLLC is delighted to announce that, effective September 2024, Taylor Widawski has been promoted to partner!

Taylor regularly counsels and provides dedicated support to some of the largest technology and social media companies in the world. A significant part of her practice includes providing strategic advice on artificial intelligence and privacy programs. She has a deep understanding of the intricate challenges at the crossroads of emerging technology and data protection. She provides strategic counsel to a wide variety of early and mid-stage startups, Fortune 100 companies, and other U.S. and international clients, delivering advanced risk management solutions and actionable advice.  

Her work includes extensive experience building and managing privacy programs from the ground up, advising on a wide range of complex AI and data privacy issues, advising AI research teams, developing strategic privacy & AI policies, refining and right-sizing privacy compliance programs, responding to regulatory inquiries, and negotiating data processing agreements.  

This year, Taylor was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the Technology Transactions practice area. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and has earned CIPP/US and CIPP/E privacy certifications*.  

Before joining Hintze Law, Taylor was in-house privacy counsel at T-Mobile and Chime Financial. Taylor also practiced at an Am Law 100 firm where she focused on privacy as well as defending against consumer class actions and other litigation with an emphasis on technology and privacy-related matters. Taylor graduated from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law (J.D.) and the University of Washington (B.A.). She is licensed to practice in Washington State.
