Emily brings experience and deep knowledge of global privacy, emerging AI laws and regulations, internal privacy policies, and product development risk.
Prior to joining Hintze, Emily was a corporate counsel at Amazon, where she supported Amazon Alexa, Amazon Kids on Alexa, and Amazon’s AI privacy matters. Emily also held roles as product & privacy counsel at Mozilla, and privacy program manager at Facebook (now Meta). She supported novel technologies including voice assistants, generative foundation model development and deployment, and augmented reality.
Emily graduated Cum Laude at both Bryn Mawr College and Temple University. While at Temple University School of Law, Emily was the Managing Editor of the Temple Law Review. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Cynthia M. Ruth of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
